I remembered when my mom told me how amazing is the love that a mother feels for her children. I was never able to understand what she meant until now. Since Ethan was born my heart was full of love for him. Yes, I’ve had times when I feel a bit overwhelmed but nothing compares to the beauty of being a mom.
I am truly amazed when I look back and examine the desires of my heart, my goals and fulfillments. Today I can say that many have gone and other have emerged. The Lord has put in my heart a deep love for my family, a desire to raise Ethan in his Word and to build a home for my husband and son.
I feel accountable of my son before God. What a huge responsibility! Thank God I have a wonderful partner. Together our little one, el peque, bonzito, will become a man of God, a man with a heart like his heavenly Father. Amen.
Being a mom has challenged me in a very specific way. It has opened my eyes about the unconditional love that the Lord feels for his children. Does He love me as much or even more than I love my son? Yes, He does. He loves in a perfect way. Oh Lord, you are so amazing! My challenge is to accept his perfect love to me. What about you?
